DIY Sweet Chocolate Gift Baskets for Fall

Whether you’re saying “thank you,” “Happy Halloween,” or just “I’m happy to know you” a chocolate gift basket is the perfect way to make message clear.

You don’t have to spend big bucks at a florist to get the perfect gift basket for fall. All you need is chocolate bulk candy and some creativity.

The Happy Halloween Chocolate Gift Basket

Grab a traditional plastic pumpkin Trick or Treat basket and fill it with sweet chocolatey treats that will make any ghost or ghoul drool.

What you’ll need:

– plastic pumpkin trick or Treat basket
– Bamboo Skewers
– Packing tape
– Halloween Variety Mars Mini Mix
– Palmer Tricky Treats
– orange and black curling ribbon (optional)
– scissors
– floral foam or styrofoam

How to make it:

Cut a piece of Styrofoam to fit in the bottom of the plastic pumpkin.
Pour the Tricky Treats into the plastic pumpkin until the pumpkin is about three-quarters full and the Styrofoam is completely hidden.
Tape individual fun-size bars from the Mars Mini Mix to the ends of the skewers. If you want to you can cut or break the skewers to make them different lengths.
At this point you can tie ribbon around each skewer for some extra decoration.
Insert each skewer carefully into the bucket of Tricky treats until it sticks in the Styrofoam.

Mug
Packet of Hot Chocolate mix
Dove Milk Chocolate Caramel Promises
Rolo Candy

How to make it:

Fill the bottom of the basket with Rolo candy
Put hot chocolate mix inside the mug
Add the mug to the basket
Add a bag of Dove Milk Chocolate Caramel Promises
You can dress it up with a ribbon around the body or handle of the basket
