Candy flower bouquet

Tootsie Roll Pop Flowers

These candy flowers are inexpensive and easy to make, so they’re a perfect activity to do with a classroom full of kids. Or make them at home and give them to your class as Valentine’s.

What you’ll need:

Green masking tape

Hole punch

Paper baking cups in valentine’s colors

Wire

Scissors

Tootsie Roll Pops or Mini Tootsie Roll Pops

How to make it:

  1. For each flower you’ll need two baking cups pressed flat and four folded in half
  2. Punch a hole ¼ inch from the edge of the four folded papers. Try to center your hole.
  3. Punch a hole in the center of the flattened paper cups.
  4. Insert the lollipop stick through the hole in each of the folded papers. Arrange them so they overlap and look like flower petals.
  5. Add the two flattened baking cups.

This tutorial recommends making leaves with wire and masking tape, but kids can also cut leaf shapes out of construction paper and tape them around the lollipop stick.
